    So I had this HDD that ran on an old laptop with Windows 7 on it and when I tried booting to it in another computer, it said "a recent hardware of software change was detected". So I decided to make it my game drive and I formatted the drive. But I was planning to upgrade my parts. I don't know if it would do the same thing it would do on the Windows 7 HDD.

    The parts I'm planning to upgrade:
    AMD Athlon X4 860K ➞ AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (yeah my athlon is so bad and old)
    BIOSTAR A68MHE Motherboard ➞ ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS (yes i need another socket)
    GOWE 1x8GB DDR3 2400 MHz ➞ Crucial Ballistix RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz (ddr3 why)

    I have an MSI U120 Netbook, yes, it is old, running Windows 7 Professional, SP1, 32-bit. The hardware:

    • CPU: Intel Atom N270 @ 1.60 GHz
    • Memory: 1GBs
    • Hard disk drive: SATA III SSD 64GBs
    • Network: Ethernet and Wi-Fi
    Windows 10 seemingly would run on this, based on its hardware requirement. Did anyone actually tried running Windows 10 on U120 Netbook?

    I don't remember exact specs, but I did manage to run Windows 8 32-bit on a similar machine. If it can run Windows 8 32-bit then it sure can 8.1 and 10 32-bit, same system requirements.

    Windows 10 SSD Boot and Sleep faliure

    Windows cannot stop the BIOS recognising the SSD. If at any time you can go into the BIOS and the SSD is not listed then you have an (intermittent) hardware fault. It does not matter what the precursor steps are if the hardware was OK it must be listed

    Step 6 is categorical, you have a hardware fault. BIOS device recognition is always before drivers load so they cannot affect the process
