Windows 10: What zip compression methods are used by Windows File Explorer?

Hello,I am working for an organization that will be archiving extensive amounts of data for long-term storage. We rely on Windows File Explorer to compress and create zip files of our publications. For our archiving work, we want to follow the ISO standard for Document Container Files: ISO/IEC 21320-1. This way we want to ensure that our archive files are accessible on a national and international scale. Is Windows File Explorer compliant with this particular ISO standard?To be more specific, does Windows File Explorer use the following resources/methods to zip and compress files:bit 11?Unico

.zip can't be set to File Explorer

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Default programs
  in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Click on choose default programs by file type
  
• 
  Select .zip
  and select File Explorer

File Explorer Search not finding files in compressed (zipped) backups.

When using the search in File Explorer it cant find files that are in a compressed zipped folder. I can see the files when I dig down individually but not with the search function. Under "Advanced Options" I have selected ( checked) the file
contents and Zipped (compressed) folders still unable to find files using search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
