    What's draining my laptop battery when no processes are running?


    Hello, I got myself a brand new Asus Rog G14 laptop last month, but I have been running into weird system errors. I put my laptop to sleep last night, fully charged and went to bed. I woke up this morning to realize my battery was dead, and when I turned on the laptop after having plugged it in, it booted into EZ Flash Mode and mentioned some weird error.     my battery is ok. if my battery was truly dying then it will drain very fast when i unplug the charger. that's not happening and i can use the laptop while it's running on the battery and the battery lasts. the battery draining when the laptop was sleeping is due to a windows issue and not a battery issue

    I don't know. If you checked it really was sleeping when you thought it was then I'd suggest running a battery report to see how degraded the battery is. Run and interpret a battery report - my post #2 - TenForums Best of luck, Denis
