I really want to get enthused with Windows 10 IoT but it's just not happening for me. It is not Windows 10, it's not even close to being an actual OS. I don't see any comparison what so ever between Windows 10 and Windows 10 IoT? I guess if I was schooled in Visual Studio I would be more enthusiastic to get on board. Out of the box there is didly squat you can do with it? What am I missing? I will try the next release though just to have a look see. That is easy to do, all you need is a spare Micro SD card.

  5. Downloaded the latest via MSDN, ran the msi file then ran the WindowsIoTimage helper. I have no idea where the ffu file is. There was no :\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft IoT\FFU folder? Only a DISM folder. Search couldn't find it either? Started over from the web page download and was successful. I didn't notice anything different from the last time I tried it. Takes forever to load, and won't fully shut down. I kept seeing the rainbow colored square pop up in the top right corner too. I think that indicates a power issue. I have a 2A power pack connected. The only things connected to the USB ports are only a wireless keyboard dongle and a USB thumb drive. I have never seen this before. Still not a whole lot you can do right from the onscreen GUI. Look at your network info and change the language. *Confused
