    Whats that Process Private that is showing on RAMMap??!! Its takin g all my RAM!!


    Process Private is taking all my memory, i cant afford a good pc so i got one that has 12gb of ram and core i7 8th gen. Lately, all my memory is being sucked up by this mysterious Process Private! Please help!

    RAM creeps up, RAMMap says Chrome running 7,000+ processes when closed

    Just to confirm, did you enable Show Details for All Processes?

    This does look like a memory leak. However, normally when a process is terminated the OS should release all its memory allocations. So it's not clear to me what exactly is going on with Chrome.

    I'm assuming you're running the latest version of Chrome. Are you running any extensions?

    Hi Patrik,

    please show Memory tab of resmon tool sorted by Working set column. And show

    Use Counts tab, Processes tab sorted by Private column, File Summary tab sorted by Standby column of RamMap tool -
