  1. whats the best possible (Internal) wifi adapter+bluetooth card avaible

i have been through about 3 wifi cards in the spand of 2 laptops looking for the best range and speed without the interference. i had a realtek dualband wifi card with bluetooth and i sold that to get a a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 expecting that this would be the top of the line in wifi standards. i mainly sold my realtek because a issue with buletooth, if im using the wifi and i connect my bluetooth headset to the laptop the sound would be choppy and laggy. so when i got my Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 i was amazed that this "was" no longer the issue. i connected my HBS-900 and walked out my apartment and down the hall and the bluetooth was clean! but it seems that now perhaps driver change the bluetooth on my Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 is also bad. i cant even step 2 feet away from my laptop without it cracking to hell, at 3 feet and not facing the laptop i disconnect. it was never like that before and i know its not my headset because when i connect it to my phone its flawless, and i connected another bluetooth adapter and tried and its fine. the issue is that when the wifi is on theirs too much interference and yes when i connect to a 5g network the issue is greatly reduced but for me 5g is mostly not a option. i was wondering if theirs a such thing as a shielded internal wifi? wouldn't think so... i would just love if i could use the bluetooth and the wifi flawlessly. i already for another reason plan to get a Alfa AC1200 external wifi adapter for a desktop but i would rather not use that for my laptop

    :)

    Don't have bluetooth?

Your best bet would be to check in HP support & HP user forums for your computer model.

The adapter that you would need to buy & fit would have to be the correct type for your particular model of computer.
You might [this is just by way of example] only be able to buy a particular type of combined Bluetooth & WiFi adapter card because there is only one place to fit it so you need to match the
internal connections & size constraints imposed by the computer's design.
You cannot just buy any type of Bluetooth adapter or any type of combined Bluetooth & WiFi adapter to fit inside your computer.

Your options would be a lot wider if you were happy to have a Bluetooth adapter in one of your USB connections all the time but that might get a bit inconvenient if you moved your computer around at all.

You do not mention why you want Bluetooth. In my case I wanted to be able to use a Bluetooth mouse because the alternative, a wireless mouse, would have permanently used up one of only three USB connections on a computer so I replaced the existing internal
WiFi card with a combined Bluetooth & WiFi card. On another computer, I just got a wireless mouse because it had enough USB connections to be able to spare one for this task.

My laptop is receiving poor WiFi signals, even when the device is close to the router, please help?

    Safayet,

Your WiFi adapter driver is almost certainly the cause of your poor WiFi reception.

It is possible that your WiFi antenna has become detached internally but that is very unlikely to have happened at the very same time as you installed Windows 10 so I doubt that it is relevant.

Check your computer / WiFi adapter maker's website for the latest WiFi drivers and any BIOS updates [as they also affect how your hardware behaves].

I had this problem on a Dell Inspiron 1545 with a 1397 WiFi card. I found a workaround in Windows 7 [a different driver version] but quite surprisingly the standard drivers in Windows 10 are fine.

Have a look around your computer / WiFi adapter maker's support website to see if there is any guidance available. If they host user forums for their users then have a look their as well.

You have not said what computer model you have or what WiFi adapter you have. You could also try searching this forum for them to see if a fellow user has posted any guidance here.

    Best of luck,

    Denis

If you have mini pcie, the best one is AzureWave AW-CE123H. Not the best range in its class, but stability and resistance to interference is flawless. Speed is excellent as it can transfer all of my 300 Mbps internet on WiFi.

PS, the Marvell Avastar 802.11ac adapter in the Surface Pro 3 is even better than the AzureWave AW-CE123H since it offers the same performance (easily capable to provide 300 Mbps internet on WiFi) and stability while having more range than the AzureWave AW-CE123H.

  7. It's an embedded WiFi chip (soldered to a motherboard) so it won't have a dedicated port. Sucks that Marvell only makes embedded WiFi controller.

PS, just to demostrate the network speed of the Marvell chip in the Surface Pro, I copy a 330 MB file @ 45 MB/s flat on 802.11ac from a USB that's attached to my router to my SP3's desktop. Also, just to show the stability of the WiFi, I never had connection drop with the Marvell and my SP3 hasn't been put to sleep nor shutdown for 7 days and counting.

BTW, I seriously consider getting the AzureWave AW-CE123H since my I used it on my previous laptop which was under Windows 7. The AzureWave never had a dropped connection for even weeks of connectivity, but the range is lower than Intel and Marvell (i.e. 1 bar less at any given location against Intel and Marvell). However, I cannot comment about it's driver performance/stability in Windows 10 since the laptop isn't fully compatible with it so it will stay on 7 until end of life.

Aw man I got hype for the marvel,
I'm not too sure. Signal strength could be a gamebreaker. The walls of my home are already super thick my Intel already has trouble getting full bars sometimes

  9. Still try the Azurewave though since Bluetooth and WiFi interference never was a problem on the Marvell and Azurewave on both 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band with my MS Comfort Bluetooth mouse. BTW, just to clarify the range that I'm referring is from the 5 GHz band. The 2.4 GHz band is almost the same as Intel and Marvell.
