    I'm considering virtualizing Linux Mint 19 if possible under W10 Pro, so I need some ideas...

    Found this, but it is not exactly entertaining, lol - need an easier way. Virtualbox? Hyper-V?

    Dual Booting Windows 10 Pro & Linux Mint/Cinnamon- Updated

    I recommend you use Ubuntu or setup Linux Mint in virtual machine, especially if you are not familiar with it.

    There are lot of resources for installing Windows and Linux together, especially on YouTube.

    Dual Booting Windows 10 Pro & Linux Mint/Cinnamon- Updated

    Use EasyBCD to add a boot entry for Linux Mint if you installed Linux Mint to the right partition.
