    hello. i need to use adobe illustrator. i have a laptop with 8gb solded ram that cant be upgraded. i cant afford a new laptop. ram has become a huge bottleneck. please don't tell me unused ram is wasted ram. i have yet to see windows retracting that cached ram and letting me use it.

    i am currently using W11, debloated. I have reached 3gb on idle.

    How much could i get with a LTSC version of W10 thats debloated?

    RAM minimum

    The minimum requirement for RAM in Windows 10 are officially :

    1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

    However I suggest you a minimum of:

    2 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 4 GB for 64-bit

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
