    What's the Status of Lenovo webcams with Windows Hello Face.


    2023 I bought a new lenovo 510 fhd webcam to use Hello Face. It worked until the summer 2024. Been using Hello pin since. Just toke another look at it and now I getting "couldn't find a camers compatible with Windows Hello Face. The camera has IR so I don't know what the problem could be. Anyone have any updates on this problem?

    windows hello face problem...

    i have a webcam intergrated on my machine
    biometrics service running...

    windows hello face gives me this message:
    you do not have a camera on this device to use for windows hello face

    any ideas?

    Hi Rose

    Windows Hello Face requires a webcam with IR (infrared) or 3D capabilities, those cameras do come built in on some laptops like the Surface devices, (You can google 'List of Windows 10 Hello compatible laptops)

    Alternatively, you would need to purchase a Webcam that is Windows 10 Hell certified . . .
