Windows 10: Whatsapp desktop app on windows 10 isn't loading QR Code

whatsapp web portal qr code not loading

when i tried to open whatsapp web portal both in microsoft edge and google chrome and whatsapp web desktop app. the qr code is not generated and it is simply rotating without end. qr code is not appearing. how to fix it. i am using windows 10

I had whatsapp 64-bit downloaded on my windows 10 laptop and it used to work fine and then randomly one day it logged me out and ever since the QR code does not load and the loading wheel just spins continuously and it's driving me mad.

I've tried uninstalling, resinstalling, installing older versions, installing from different browsers, installing and running and administrator, i've tried connecting it to different wifi networks and hardline connections... nothing has worked so far.

I can still use whatsapp web on my browser, but i find this annoying having it open in a tab and would rather use the desktop app so i can see notifcations and so it doesn't get lost in different tabs I have open.

Does anyone know what might be causing the QR code to not load or have any idea on how to fix this?

Hello,

I recently have a problem with WhatsApp Desktop on windows 10.

I uninstalled and reinstalled from Microsoft Store.

When I launched WhatsApp desktop, the pop up windows appears then closes.

Sometimes it appears and I wait for the QR code to appear but it doesn't and then closes the window.

WhatsApp web works fine but not desktop.

Please help?
