Windows 10: Whatsapp, messenger & other windows app don't work with proxy internet

any app downloaded from Microsoft store not working on proxy internet. Like whatsapp, messenger & others that need internet.

Proxy internet working in some apps but not in some.

maybe whatsapp doesn't allow the use of proxies. I suggest you contact the developer of the app for more info.

 

Store, Whatsapp and some other apps are not working with Wi-Fi with proxy authentication on windows 10 mobile

I am using Lumia 730 dual sim with Windows 10 mobile OS. In our organization, We need to connect to Internet with WiFi behind proxy with authentication.

When I connected my mobile to the WiFi network with proxy authentication, Some of the apps such as facebook, messenger, news ..etc., are getting connected to the Internet.

But Store, Whatsapp and some other options are not getting connected.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hi,

I have a peculiar problem in my windows phone 8.1(Lumia 820, OS version 8.10.14192.280 ). I am using wifi network at my college that uses proxy. I have applied proxy settings and internet is working properly in most of the apps(facebook,internet explorer)
but when I am trying to use it in whatsapp, it isn't working there.

Whatsapp is working properly with my 3g network or at my home wifi.

Please tell me the solution, I would be very grateful.
