Windows 10: Whatsapp notifications disappear from Windows Notification Center

Recently, I have noticed a strange behavior with the notifications sent to my Windows 10 laptop:
I do have a pop-up at the bottom of my screen and the notification is present in the notification center, but it disappears after a few seconds. If I am not in front of my computer and not checking my phone, I will never be notified I received a Whatsapp message for instance.
However, it is not happening for SMS notifications. Side question for this : is it normal that only the most recent SMS notification appears ?
Is it a Join, Chrome or Windows issue ?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

To stop action center notifications, I suggest you to follow the steps given below:

• 
  Type settings in search bar and hit
  enter.
  
• 
  Go to system.
  
• 
  Select notifications and actions.
  
• 
  Click on turn system icons on or off.
  
• 
  Turn off action center.

Mail notifications disappearing from action center

Hello.

In action center, if I have number of notifications about new emails I can only open one from all listed, all remaining notifications about emails will disappear from action center... can I somehow change this behavior?
