Windows 10: Whatsapp won't launch after initial installation and launch

I've been using Whatsapp desktop on Windows 10 for a few months now with no problems. Then suddenly the desktop client stopped working - when I attempt to launch nothing happens.


I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, and Whatsapp always opens the first time I try after installation, but then once closed it won't open again.

Any ideas? Thank you

Can't make Whatsapp Web launch at startup

Hi everyone!

After installing Whatsapp Web

successfully from Microsoft Store, I checked Start


but it doesn't launch at startup.
So, I opened the file location of the app and copied Whatsapp.exe then paste it in "shell:startup". but it gave me "ffmpeg.dll" isn't found. I downloaded it and put in system32 path but always nothing works.

is there a way to make it launch at startup?

Get Windows 10 App won´t launch

Hello all,

I hope someone can help me. Finally after a lot of manual updates, my Get Windows 10 app is showing in the taskbar.

However, now when I left click it, right click Get Windows 10, right click Check your Update status, the app launches and immediately closes down again.

The options Go to Windows Update and Get to know Windows 10 do work.

Just the app won´t launch. Anyone ideas?

WhatsApp not launching on desktop

I've tried to fix this problem twice but it doesn't go away. Every time I double click the whatsapp desktop shortcut, the cursor loads for a second, then nothing happens. Whatsapp does not launch. Right clicking and selecting run as administrator does not
work either. I also do not see 'Advanced Options' below Whatsapp when I go to settings>apps and select whatsapp there

The only way I can get it to launch is by going to task manager and finding whatsapp in the background processes, and then selecting it and clicking end task. After this, double-clicking the whatsapp shortcut launches whatsapp.

Please help me solve this
