Windows 10: Whaty is thre danger of turning off the Core Isolation Driver, if any?

What does the Core Isolation Driver do?What does it protect from happening? What's ther impact to having it off?Please. How I discovered thits: I was installing my learning Suite when the error message identifying an Incompatible driver PxH1pa64.sys. The instructions lead me to rien the Core Isolation Device off. After losing the software, I went to turn the Core Isolation Device back on but it won't let me because of the incompatible driver.

I'm only getting my head around part of that ... The company will not be coming out with an updated driver… I'm stuck with this one…. to the question becomes… since I had to turn off the Core isolation device, and I can't turn it back on because my Adobe requires that driver… am I putting my laptop at Rask because I still need to install my windows.. Microsoft office 2013…. yes I know it's old so am I… my dragon voice and my file maker pro. All from disks to bre updated after I'm online... if their are any updates.

My fear is something might sneak onto my computer and damage it. I mean there are levels of safety… and then there's overkill and I'm not sure where the the core isolation device falls within the necessary versus luxury security/safety.

“Core Isolation” and “Memory Integrity” security features to everyone. These use virtualization-based security to protect your core operating system processes from tampering, but Memory Protection is off by default

Memory Integrity is a feature inside a broader set of protections called Core Isolation. It uses hardware virtualization to protect sensitive processes from infection. These features are a subset of virtualization-based security features that Microsoft has offered to enterprise users since Windows 10 shipped. It rolled out Core Isolation and Memory Integrity to all Windows editions in 2018.

Memory Integrity (also called hypervisor-protected code Integrity or HVCI), uses Microsoft’s Hyper-V hypervisor to virtualize the hardware running some Windows kernel-model processes, protecting them against the injection of malicious code.

Memory Integrity protection can cause problems with some device drivers or other low-level Windows applications, which is why it’s disabled by default on upgrades

It is recommended to keep it off if any of the drivers are incompatible with memory integrity until the driver developer push a compatible driver update
