    WHEA errors on brand new system, tried everything still happening


    Hi everyone. Got this new system a couple of months ago.Didn't built it myself. Started having WHEA errors 17 since the first day. Got thousand of error on event registry. Then the system freezes and the only way is to restart the machine. Once back in see error WHEA 16 that caused the freezing Been on forums reading about possible solutions. So far I've: Reinstalled windows twice; Updated the system with all drivers; Updated BIOS; Changed PCI from Gen 4 to Gen 3; Downgraded BIOS from f21 to f20b and then to f20a; Tried to change power managment on both system and PCIe; Runned stress test a

    WHEA Error - Please Help

    Everything on my computer has been running flawlessly since building it a few months ago. For the last week, I've been getting random WHEA errors. I assumed they would go away on their own since it was a generic error every time. Today, I got fed up and reinstalled windows. About 15 minutes into the new installation, I get another WHEA error. I googled it and decided to get blue screen viewer to determine the root of the problem. I have no clue how to read this error log though and need help in a big way. Can someone please direct me on how to fix this crap? Let me know what other information is needed. I'm going crazy over here.

    WHEA-Logger Event ID 17 flooding System Events

    WHEA errors are most common when CPU based errors are happening. If you have CPU overclocked, restore it to default values. Also check temperatures of the CPU.

    WHEA errors on brand new system, tried everything still happening

    WHEA INTERNAL ERROR

    My computer updated the windows last night and this morning when I went to start, it won't get past the blue screen with the error code WHEA INTERNAL ERROR.

    This is what happens: I go to turn on the computer for the first time today, it boots a little and gets past displaying the logo. A circle appears as normal but it abruptly stops, then the blue screen shows. WHEA INTERNAL ERROR. The computer then collects
    some data and attempts to restart, then the problem happens again.

    My problem is identical to another question here:

    The owner of the question had to resort to a full wipe and reinstall the windows on c drive. I would rather not do that.

    This looks like something to do with the latest update. I can not undo the update from recovery settings either. It fails.

    I also tried the suggested solutions on the question of Zhidao Leeroybruce but I these couldn't fix my problem either.
