Windows 10: When are you guys going to get the system fixed for downloads for the system?

I can't download or upgrade anything on my laptop it is a HP STREAM. The error code is 0x80073CF9 Please get it fixed! Thank You! I turned off my laptop and waited a few seconds then turned it back on and that didn't help at all. I even restarted my laptop a couple of times and that didn't work either.

Method 1:

First, I would suggest you to run the System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Refer to these steps to perform a
SFC scan:

a) Press
Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin)to bring up elevated command prompt

b) In the command prompt type the following command:
sfc/scannowand press enter

c) Now, restart the computer.

Method 2:

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I would suggest you to try the following steps:

a) Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.

b) In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

c) Close the command prompt after this step.

Method 3:

You may also try to perform
chkdsk and see if that helps.

Chkdsk is a system tool which verifies the file system integrity and fixes system errors. Here is the steps:

• 
  Press Windows+X.
  
• 
  Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type the command Chkdsk /f/r.
  
• 
  Hit Enter.
  

Chkdsk disclaimer: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive, while the bad sectors might be recovered however there might be pertinent data loss.
