Windows 10: When attempting to print from snipping tool or my photo app the print is either too large...

Each of us has windows 10 & different computer mfg. & two of us have the same cable provider.I use Gimp, Photo expressions and Snipping tool. Everyone gets the same results, the image is either huge or so tinyyou can't read it. Two friends attempted to do this on their laptops & got the same results. So, we assume its something in Microsoft. They are changing to Snip and sketch. How do we fix this in the mean time. Oh ye, I tried snip & sketch & gotthe same thing tiny.

I changed the paper size to a4 8.5 inches x 11 in the Windows Photo app and it printed properly, but printing from Snipping Tool directly it still divides it and prints on two pages.

Am becoming convinced that Snipping Tool is the problem in its' design.

Read this if you wish:" I ran into this same issue and after troubleshooting it seems that Snipping tool does not have a "fit to size". Anything smaller than the printing size of the page will print fine, anything bigger than the printing size will print as many pages would required for it to actually print the whole image but blank. Only workaround to print larger snips i have found is to save and then print."

Snipping tool prints large images as blank pages

Hey guys,

Multiple people in my office can not print large screen captures from the snipping tool. The printers will all just print out blank documents in the number of pages needed to print it out. When we capture a smaller screen shot (i.e. something half the size
of a browser window minimized) it prints fine. When we save the screenshot as a format like png, jpeg, etc. We can then print it when we open that saved image. This only occurs when printing directly from snipping tool.

I was not sure if this is a known feature and you simply just can not print certain sizes without saving them or if this sounds like an issue.
