    When browsing, my screen flashes for a second and all the media playing on other tabs pause


    I recently bought a new Asus laptop in March. Config: 8GB memory, core i5 11th gen 2.4ghzbut when I am browsing, my screen flashes for a second, and all videos playing on every tab pause automatically and the video player becomes black. I mostly watch Youtube so I only got the problem when watching youtube. Also this one time, I was watching youtube fullscreen and had another browser window opened and the contents of that window tab were showing in youtube instead of the video.This is happening very frequently recently. I thought it was a Chrome problem but happens on Brave browser as well.

    Hi,

    I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

    Please answer these questions to assist you better.

    • Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
    • Do you get any error message?
    • What is the make and model of your computer?

    I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check as driver updates are also part of Windows updates.

    Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

    Also uninstall and reinstall Display drivers from manufacturer website and check. Refer the steps below.


    • Press “Windows + X” and select
      Device Manager      .

    • Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.

    • Right click on the driver icon and click on
      Properties      .

    • Go to Driver tab.

    • Select Uninstall and follow onscreen instructions.

    Volume is increasing when media is paused and then played !

    When I pause and then play media in applications , be it VLC player , Windows Media Player or any other , the volume increases automatically ! HELP PLEASE ! It is really frustrating adjusting volume very time I pause and play.

    Hi

    while playing audio /video in builtin groove music or 3rd party vlc player I am facing issue that media randomly play and pause contentiously . I confirmed there is no keyboard input by opening word(so no key pressed).
