Windows 10: When can I leave a microsoft family group age in the UK

Long story short:My friend somehow became my family organiser and then his account was blocked as he forgot the password and entered it wrong too many times. Now i cant play multiplayer games at all anymore or buy purchases without gift cards. How do i fix this??

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts. However, family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Hi iWichito, let me try to assist you.

If you are at your rightful age, you can leave the group. Your age will be based upon the date of birth recorded in your family group. You will need to sign in to your Microsoft Account. And into the Family Settings Page, from there you can leave the Family group.
