Windows 10: When clicked Yes for pop up "To run this application, you must install .NET. Would you like...

My application needs ".NET 5.0 Desktop Runtime" to get executed and if this .net version is not available then the application gives pop up saying "To run this application, you must install .NET. Would you like to download it now?". If I Click on yes, it will open web page to download the " .NET 5.0 Desktop Runtime", However if I already have some other version like "Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime 6.0.24" then it still shows that pop up but it will not open any web page when clicked on yes button like previously.I found Microsoft document related to it but it won't answer my questionTrouble

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

Method 1 I suggest you to run Windows Update Troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on windows update.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2 I also suggest you to uncheck the
.NET Framework 1.0 and restart the computer and check if issue persists,

Please follow the steps below:

• 
  Right click on start menu and click on programs and features.
  
• 
  Click Turn windows features on or off.
  
• 
  Uncheck .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services.
  
• 
  Click on ok.
  

Once, you have unchecked these, Please restart your computer and recheck
the .NET Framework 1.0 and .NET Framework services andcheck.
