Windows 10: when closing games or sometimes when playing them pc either crashes or monitor says no...

this is an issue ive been having for a while now, probably 1 or 2 years, however when i was away at university i was playing on a wireless connection and very rarely if ever experienced these issues, but anywhere i play with an ethernet cable it seems to cause multiple game crashes.just now was playing rocket league and then i dropped to a very low fps before hearing a loud buzzing/interference in my headset and then the screen just froze. this is a regular occurrence when i am at home and can only be fixed by turning off and on again. Likewise sometimes I will close the game when i am done an

PC crashing after closing games

I have tried both of those things you have suggested but to no avail.

I have paid a pc specialist to come around and have a look and they made sure bios and drivers were up to date but couldnt replicate the crashes ive been getting.

I am still managing to play the one game i have with friends.

Sometimes if i logout back to main menu of game it will crash, restart pc. other times it wont and then other times it crashes, restarts pc shortly after closing game

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.

My pc crashes while playing games

My pc suddenly started freezing and monitor losing signal when I play games that I used to be able to run without issues. When there's audio playing while crashing it becomes an infinite glitchy sound. When this happens I have to disconnect my pc from power.

I checked event viewer and all it says is ''The previous system shutdown at 18:17:37 on ‎07/‎11/‎2023 was unexpected.''

I don't know much so I don't know what other information to add.
