  1. When deleting online-only icon on one device, removes from all devices.

I picked up a new windows 10 laptop and saw that all my PC desktop icons showed up too. When I deleted the desktop icons on the laptop for programs not installed on it, the ones from the PC desktop were removed too! How do you stop this from happening? I don't have all the same software on the laptop, so the desktop screen will have different icons naturally than the PC desktop. This is getting annoying.

Changing device names and deleting devices

You can't delete "retired" machines....there is some kind of "paper" trail they keep and the "old" devices are kept in archive.

I think???you can change machine names by doing so in windows "computer name" and then it might change[can't remember for sure] if it doesn't do so...detach and do a remove/re install and it should change.

    Safely Remove Icon never disapear

The safely remove hardware icon usually appears when you have some sort if USB storage device plugged in.

If you click on the icon does it show any devices that can be removed ?
