Windows 10: When dragging windows on the desktop, the movement is erratic

Hello.

I have this weird problem since i changed the monitor. The previous one was a normal 23" FHD 60hz and all went well and smooth. Now i have a large 35" 21:9 with 3440x1440 resolution and 120hz refresh rate.

It is annoying when i move windows around the desktop (being it so large, it is really comfortable to put them side by side) and the movement is so inconsistent. It starts with the right speed, then slows down for a while, then speeds up too much (to compensate the slowdown).


I tried to google it, but found nothing. Anyone can help me?

Erratic mouse movements


Since I carried out a clean re-installation, my mouse, a MS Wireless Mouse 5000, has displayed intermittent erratic and jerky movements. Sometimes it is OK, other times it can move in such coarse jerky movements that it is unusable. My Wacom pen on the other hand is smooth. I have tried disabling One Drive thinking it was a conflict of CPU time but that doesn't help. A different mmouse exhibits same problem, New batteries don't help. Googling for answers finds plenty of references to the issue (mostly dating back 2 - 3 years) but no solution.
Any current views on the issue?

 

mouse 3500 erratic movement

Since installing windows 10 (I have the latest version of windows installed, v1703, build 15063.483 x64) I've had mouse issues with every mouse I've attempted to use. I just installed a new Microsoft 3500 mouse and it seems to have all the functions it
should but the movement is often very erratic. Also I find the mouse to be uncomfortable after using it for and hour or so. I'm starting to use SketchUp for woodworking and find it difficult to use the 3500 mouse because it is so erratic. Often when I move
the mouse the cursor will not move when I move the mouse and then it will jump to a new position.

  Do you refer to favorites when you say “some of my frequently used sites are unable to be displayed”? Where exactly the sites are not being displayed?
  

The cursor movement may jerk/lag sometimes, if the drivers are not up to date. I suggest you to update the Mouse drivers. Refer to the below article on how to update the drivers in Windows 10.
