Windows 10: when drawing, pen ink not showing unitl pen lifted up in certain windows apps

basically , i am using an xp-pen deco fun s ct640 on windows 10 and whenever i try to draw or write with it on apps such as onenote microsoft 365 ver and windows 10 ver or word , the ink will not appear until i lift the pen off the surface of the tablet. the same issue also occurs with windows 10's handwriting recognition feature where the ink also does not appear until i lift the pen off the surface of the tablet and its super annoying . however , some apps like microsoft whiteboard doesn't have this issue which i find weird .i am using the default windows drivers that windows used , but

how to disable windows ink but keep pen pressure

i have a wacom one and when windows ink is disabled i get the brushstrokes i want but no pen pressure, however when it is enabled i get pen pressure but the pen seems to stick and continue drawing even after i've lifted the pen from the surface and i get
weird curving flicks at the end, should i just uninstall the driver and install an older version or is there a way to remove windows ink but keep pen pressure?

 

Scratch pad apps that use digital pen

I got myself an HP laptop with a digital pen. It would be nice if there was an app that I can draw diagrams on, write lists on (still using the pen) etc. Any recommendations?

Its got Windows Ink Workspace if that means anything.
