Windows 10: When ever I try to download gaming services I receive error 80070490

I am not very good with technology so please have patience. I recently got this new computer a dell inspiron and I recently tried to download Minecraft into it however when I did I got the error 80070490. I have also tried to download the gaming services in the computer and it gave me the same error. I have tried to restart it, to do update it and to look up how to fix it but nothing has worked so far I'm not sure what todo anymore.

Error 80070490

From the description provided, I understand that you are experiencing the error code 80070490 when you try to sync the email app.

Please be informed that the Error Code 80070490 may also occur when when attempting to update an App.

Perform the suggested methods and check.

Method 1

A. Check whether the Windows date and Time set to Automatic and synced.

B. Disconnect all the peripheral devices except for the mouse and keyboard.

C. Follow these steps to run the Windows inbuilt troubleshooter:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  

• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  

• Select the Windows Update option from the list.
  

• Click Next to run theTroubleshooter.

D. Try to use the Windows Update troubleshooter and see if it helps.

Method 2

This issue might also occur due to corruption in Windows Update component files. I suggest you to reset Windows Update component. Kindly follow the below given steps.

  Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Stop the BITS service, the Windows Update service, and the Cryptographic service. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.
  
  • 
    net stop bits
    
  • 
    net stop wuauserv
    
  • 
    net stop appidsvc
    
  • 
    net stop cryptsvc
    
• 
  Rename the software distribution folders backup copies. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.
  
  • 
    Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
    
  • 
    Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
    
• 
  Restart the BITS service, the Windows Update service, and the Cryptographic service. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.

5. Restart your PC

Manually Sync the Primary Microsoft Account on Your Phone

• From the App list on your phone, tap
• Tap Email + Accounts
• Tap and Hold your primary account
• Tap Sync from the menu (the primary account will not have the option to delete)
