And hence, myself included, neither the time or ability to state an opinion based on fact, rather than the biased information that their favorite media outlet is feeding them.

The Net Neutrality vote comes up this week on Thursday, December 14. It looks like there may be a wrench thrown in the gears that may delay the vote.

I think so. Some sites can't be seen depending where you pretend you are from.

Whether this is important (or has anything to do with Net Neutrality) I dunno. Probably not - it is just different countries pointlessly banning stuff.

Lol, lx07. I see you and others keep posting and it gets deleted. *Shock

I've been doing a lot of reading. If I had a degree in U.S. law it would help, such as with https://transition.fcc.gov/Daily_Rel...CC-15-24A1.pdf. I can't say I read all of it, for it's quite long. I read a lot of it, though. However, I got a "feel" of it, which is undoing some FCC rules they made under the Obama administration.

Here's an oral argument that explains things better in layman's terms. There are others as well.

Here's a Wikipedia article that explains a lot. The timeline in it summarizes a lot.

Net neutrality in the United States - Wikipedia

Basically all this is about what category U.S. ISPs fall under according to our laws and the interpretations of those laws. Also an interpretation of what the Internet actually is. There's been lawsuits and appeals. Even the U.S. Supreme Court made rulings on some of the matters. I'll try to post what I think it all means, but for now I think it will take an act of God to straighten it all out.

This was bound to happen, but congress have the power to reverse it. If you want to save net neutrality and have a free, open and equal internet in the U.S, now is the bloody time to take action.
