Windows 10: When gaming on PC my games lag real bad until I hit the Windows button. How can I fix this?

My games lag real bad when I'm on PC unless I hit the windows button then it goes back to normal. For example, when I'm playing Halo Infinite my game will lags real hard when I'm about to start a match or when I click the X button on my Xbox control to bring up the Xbox menu. My Nvidia drivers are updated. I've tried reinstalling the game and Xbox app. It does it with other games. What steps should I take next?I'm on windows 10 by the way.

mouse and button lag in game but game runs fine

after updating to windows 10 pro my games from steam or off of websites don't work well. my mouse lags a lot and the buttons to. the game isn't lagging though its runs at 60 fps. pls help me its really annoying to because I want to play my new games but

Windows Lag & Game Lag after opening games.

Hey so I've been having this problem for a while and I've tried lots of things to try and fix it which none of them have worked.

• Clean installed windows twice
• Reinstalled through a flash drive
• Tried different Ram and Graphics cards

I don't believe it is a hardware problem but when I open games, and I return to the windows desktop while the program is still running. Windows Icons are very delayed when I hover over them and slow to respond. But as soon as I close the program the issue
goes away and the icons are back and smooth again.

Specs:

• Rtx 2060 Super
• 32gb Ram
• Amd threadripper 1920x
• corsair 850 watt psu
• 64bit Windows Pro

Anything helps this problem is so unbearable because not only does windows lag but the game lags as well no matter what i'm playing. When I first purchased this computer I was not getting any lag at all this problem came out of no where.
