Windows 10: When giving control to other person on teams, the mouse is misaligned. Same issue on...

When I give control to other user while on Microsoft teams, the user wants to click in place A, but my computer assumes he clicked on place B some space on the side.

It happened me in different sessions, with different people, on different months.


I have the same behaviour when using UI flows: I record a behaviour - ex. I open a calculator and then click on 1+3 and stop recording. When I test the recording, the UI flow will reproduce what I did. However, when doing what I supposedly did, instead of clicking "1", it will click "2", and then instead of clicking "3", it will click outside the calculator.


Seems it has a misalignment to the right - however I'm not sure if is every time the same.


I only had issues when giving control to other person, or recording the actions and reproducing them.

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

New Teams

Hi,

With regard to your concern, you can add a new team on Cortana by following the steps below:

• Click Cortana or the circle icon.
• Click the Notebook icon, scroll down and click Sports.
• Click Add a team and start typing the name of a team.
• Select the results.

Note: If the the team does not show up in the list you cannot add it to the Notebook. We suggest that you send a feedback using Windows Feedback hub so we can take note of this feature for future updates.
