When helping a particular person in Quick Assist, Win 10, I can only see a black screen even though the two computers are connected. My mouse moves around on the connected User computer. I have tried Quick Assist on three other computers as a Helper, with no problems connecting and accessing.

    quick assist for win 10

    Hi Cindy,

Microsoft Quick Assist is a Windows 10 app that enables two people to share a computer over a remote connection so that one person can help solve problems on the other person’s computer.

To open Quick Assist, follow these steps:

Select the Start button > Windows Accessories >
Quick Assist, or select the search box on the taskbar and type
    Quick Assist
, and then select Quick Assist in the list of results.

    2. In the Quick Assist window that appears, click Give Assistance

    Launching Windows 10 Quick Assist

To help another Windows 10 user remotely, launch the Quick Assist app and choose Give Assistance.

    3. Sign in with your Microsoft Online account.

    4. Quick Assist generates a 6-digit security code. Give this code (by email, instant messenger, text or voice call) to the person whose computer you will need to connect to. After 10 minutes, this code will become invalid.
