Accept a meeting request where the message contained a url link, look at it in the calendar, the embedded link to the meeting is gone replaced by plain text.

Need to use Gmail calendar to see the original link in their calendar.

N8 Mail For Exchange unable to respond or accept meeting requests as there is no response option in the menu ???

Working with meeting requests



To open a meeting request in the Mail for Exchange mailbox, select the meeting request.



To accept a meeting request select Options >
Response > Accept. The meeting will be added to your device calendar if calendar entries are being synchronised.



To tentatively accept a meeting request select Options >
Response > Tentative. The meeting will be added to your device calendar if calendar entries are being synchronised.
To reject a meeting request select Options >
Response > Decline. The meeting will not appear in your device calendar.

 

Accepting a calendar request

I have a meeting request but I can't accept it as phone only can do this via my outlook.com account which I don't use (and never will).

I cannot find any option to sync my business calendar to this phone or any option therefore to respond to a meeting request.

In my email and accounts there are no calendar options - or anywhere else come to that.

Is it possible for me to link a calendar, the one I use on my PC? Do I need to set up my business email account as exchange in order to sync? Will it work with my calendar and will I be able to accept a meeting request?

For today I'll have to explain to my colleagues that I'm using a windows phone and as they're IT consultants I'm sure they'll understand.

 

calendar entry won't sync

I opened the Calendar entry in Outlook (via the Hotmail connector) and it said something like 'the requestor has not requested a response to this meeting. From there, I accepted the meeting again, and now it shows on my calendar.
