Windows 10: When I added a new ssd to my pc it made me go to a black screen

When i started my pc it went to a boot error screen and i checked if the ssd was correctly connected and then tried again and it still did not work I thought my pc was broken but when I used my old ssd my pc worked perfectly find can someone please explain to me or help me to resolve this issue and I also checked bios and it said that the ssd was detected
