Hi,

To show the Caller ID, please follow these simple steps:

• From the Start screen, swipe left.
• Scroll and tap Phone.
• Tap the Menu icon.
• Tap Settings/call settings.
• Tap the Show my caller ID to drop-down.
• Tap to select the desired option from the list.

Caller ID disaeppearing/reappearing on Nokia Lumia 620

In most cases, Caller ID identifies who is calling from information provided by the cellular network. In some cases, WPhone can assist (if you haven't subscribed to CallerID from your provider) by matching up the incoming number to one in your contact list.
(People hub). However, if there isn't an exact one-to-one match, the latter method may not be able to identify the caller from your contact list.

So, if you have subscribed to CallerID from your provider, then check with their technical support. It should be fairly consistent. If you haven't, then it really depends on the format which the cellular network sends the incoming calling number. In the
latter case, the best bet is to make sure your contact list has phone numbers in a consistent format.

 

HTC HD7 Caller ID not showing

I am running across exact same issue as posted in the original thread.

• Bell unlocked HD7 using on Rogers
• Same Caller ID "Unknown" caller issue
• Works well for local land line numbers and Rogers for all the others same problem
• I am running the most current update Mango 7.5 - 7720

I was on phone with Rogers Tech support, and we did following experiments:

• The Tech support went through this link too, said its a Hardware problem related with HTC and i should speak with them
  
• He disabled my Caller ID and Caller Display feature as a result, phone showed Unknown for all the calls
  

So the question is where is the solution?

• The issue was posted in Feb 2011, 9 months have passed and no solution
• Any experience heads would like to comment. Sorry i am not a tech guy so i really want to know the solution.
  

Question?

• Can i take my phone back to factory settings, so no Bell firmware (not sure if i am using the right terms here, but i want to take it step 0 with the HTC stuff, no bell thing)
• If yes, how i do it please help me understand.
• Is it possible to revert it to base and then upgrade the phone to the most recent version.

ANY THOUGHTS? Will look forward to hear from you all.
