Windows 10: when i attempt to sign in all i receive is, This account does not exist.

when i attempt to sign in all i receive is, We couldn't find any issues or problems with the Microsoft account details you entered. when i check to see if the email does exist, microsoft states that the email account is healthy. I have the unclosed email account on both my computer and phone and authentication app as well as xbox game bar. when i go to sign in on my computer, the address that the sign in shows is completely different to my actual email address, and the verification email address is different too.I can no longer use my laptop due to the microsoft account no longer working.

Receiving we cannot sign you into your account error

I understand that you received after an HP update, you received a message, ‘we cannot sign you into your account’. I’ll certainly assist you with this.



However, please let us know:

• May I know the HP update that was installed?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

Based on the information provided by you, it could be possible that the computer might be booting to a Temporary profile that is the reason the files are missing after reboot.



I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article
on Windows 10 error message: "We can't sign in to your account".

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

 

Sign in with a Microsoft account instead

I do in fact have an existing Microsoft account and if I go directly to Microsoft, everything works. The problem is clearly at Step 7 of the process of, "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead." I don't know why this is happening.
