when i boot I get stuck on a page with small print that says, basic, something, and what look like a small keyboard when you press on it it talks to you ... and it wont let you get into your start up page

Print jobs stuck in print quese

My wife recently changed from Chrome to Firefox on her laptop. Afterward the system would hang whenever she tried to print something. I looked and it seems that jobs get stuck in the print queue after printing. There was a test page and another job. I was able to cancel the other job but the test page won't cancel. Restarting the print spool service resulted in the test page printing but remaining in the queue in printing status.

What should me next steps be?

I dont have this problem when I print say a Word document, it prints fine to the margins, normal sized.

But when I use control P and that new window comes up with the image of the page and the selections to the right such as, destination orientation page size, print to margins clicked off and all the other stuff, either printing all the page (pages) offered or selection if I have highlighted something, then it prints very small in one corner of the paper.

I need to find the setting that prevents this. Normally I dont have this problem, but recently its there and I cant get rid of it.

Win 10 pro Canon TS9100 (which I dont think is the problem)

  Once the document is open in Edge, press
  Ctrl+P or More actions button at the top last end of the browser.

  Click Print as PDF button.
  
• 
  Check if the document prints as expected.
  

If the above steps did not work, try the next methods.

Method 2: Set your printer as default.

  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.
