    When I click on a window its acts as if its tabbed out


    I'm not too sure what topic to put this in as it seems that only I and one other person has had this problem.I don't know why but sometimes when I click on a window it acts as if it has been tabbed out. The window hasn't been minimized but it still acts as if it has been tabbed out, like I'm clicking on an invisible window. It can happen on any window whether it be a game, discord, steam or chrome. It even seems to lock up my task bar. I purchased my pc in November 2021 and haven't gotten any problems since yesterday 31 Jan 2022, when I decided to restart and it seemed to fix it so I shut it

    ACT Pro 2013 will not open in Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    The most likely causes on a standalone are a damaged or invalid .pad file or SQL is not running, or is damaged.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.


      • Click your Windows Start button, choose Run and type in actdiag.


      • When ACT! Diagnostics comes up, click Databases, the Database List.


      • Locate your database in the list, right-click on it and select Detach. Make sure you know the filepath to your database before detaching it.


      • When the database has been detached, open My Computer (or Windows Explorer) and browse to the location of your database.


      • Locate the .PAD file for your database [database name].pad and delete it.


      • Reopen ACT!...you will get a message that the last database opened cannot found, then will be taken to the Open Database dialog box.


      • At the bottom of this box, change the Files of Type to .adf, browse to the location of your database and double-click on the .adf file for your database.


      • You will get a message that ACT! will verify your database, click OK and ACT will reattach your database to SQL and create a new .pad file.

    Curious small window bug - Win7 - UPDATE: Command line -tab parameter issue?

    Any steps to reproduce? GPU-Z dynamically changes the window border/size to enable resize only when sensor tab is active

    Windows 10 killed Act! 2010

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

    As you are facing issues with installing Act 2010, do let us know the complete error message of this issue?

    Do let us know if your device/ user account is connected with a Domain network?

    If not connected, I suggest you to download the latest version of the software from the manufacturer's website try to install them in the compatible mode on Windows 10 and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

    • Download the updated software from the Manufacturer's
      website.
    • Right click the software installation file and select
      Properties then click the Compatibility tab.
    • Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
    • Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then click
      OK.
    • Try installing the application/software and check.
