Windows 10: When I click on Google Chrome, it raises my volume to the max.

I recently started noticing this issue a few days ago.So for a bit of background, I have ran my computer's master volume at 100% for as long as I can remember. I usually just adjusted the audio on YouTube, or Twitch, or Spotify within the application itself. Recently I wanted to change it up and keep the audio on websites that I visit on max and adjust the volume as needed on the computer's master volume. The issue is when I lower my volume to anything other than 100%, it will ONLY stay at that set level if I do not click on google chrome. As I am typing this, my volume is automatically adjust

How to raise microphone volume?

I suggest you check your microphone gain level. To do it, try the steps mentioned below:

Right click on Speaker icon (Volume settings) on the Taskbar

Choose Recording Devices

Click on Microphone and open the Properties

Finally, move the slider to choose the level. It will raise the Microphone and Microphone Boost option.

 

problem uninstalling google chrome

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Windows 10 and Google chrome problems

Uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome and check

To uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome follow the steps given below.

  In Control Panel , Click on
  Programs
  
• 
  Then Click on Programs and features.
  
• 
  Select Google Chrome and Click Uninstall button
  

Uninstall Chrome prompt dialog appears and the further uninstallation process continues if you click uninstall button. Once Google Chrome gets uninstalled, you can download and install Google Chrome from its official website,
and check if issue persists.
