Windows 10: When I connect a USB storage medium stick or HDD Windows 11 freezes.

When I connect a USB storage medium stick or HDD Windows 11 sits there for ages with the "working on it" circle of shame spinning.Sometimes the only way to stop this is to close Explorer in Task Manager and restart it. Sometimes that doesn't help. In the end, I have to just wait.It happens with several different storage devices. I've used the same storage devices with my old Win10 PC without this behaviour, so it must be a problem with Win11. It doesn't do it all the time, but I would say that it's doing it more frequently now than when I first had the system.This is appalling! It's a real b

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

my phone is 5235

heres my problem i formated my phone and mem card.so my map data was gone......i downloaded map loader installed it....i run it connect my phone to usb....it starts downloading at 98.3% it goes to saving on storage device--at about 21% it says--

'connection to the storage medium has been interrupted, attach your storage medium and retry'.

even though i havent touched a thing...it has happenend twice

NVMe to HDD to NVMe
