Windows 10: When I copy and paste from the USB to the internal hard drive, nothing happens

I have Windows 10 Pro computers. On one I inserted a USB pen drive and copied a directory of files to it. I then moved and inserted the USB stick into the second Windows 10 Pro computer. When I copy and paste from the USB to the internal hard drive, nothing happens (no copy dialogue box, no error and nothing in the event log). I can copy other files and folders on the local hard drive to the same USB stick without error. Any thoughts?

• What browser are you using?
• Is this issue happening with a specific website?

We suggest trying to do the same function (Copy and Paste) using a different browser and using other website as well.
