Windows 10: when i double tap on the top left corner of my hp touchpad, yellow light does not appear.

when i tap the top left corner of my touchpad the amber light does not appear, but when i tap the top left corner of my touchpad in lock screen, it works! I wanted the amber light to work after i unlock the screen i.e. when i login to my computer.

please help me fix this.


my touchpad: synaptics lux pad.

At the top left of the touchpad, is there a tiny LED light or dimple in the corner of the touchpad?

If so, double tap that to enable/disable the touchpad

If not what is the exact Model No. of your HP laptop - that will be printed on a sticker the bottom casing of your laptop . . .
