    Norton and McCafee keep turning each other off or saying something is blocking it. I took one McCafee program off but can not get the scan off computer. It pops up and says "you can no longer scan your computer" and are unprotected or something similar.

    Microsoft doesn't use McCafee do they? They have their own security, I thought.


    How do I get the McCafee scan program that was put on my computer when I downloaded Adobe off my Laptop?

    Did you (a) uninstall the Dell-preinstalled McAfee free-trial AND THEN (b) download/run the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool & reboot (c) BEFORE you installed McAfee SaaS Endpoint Security on the Windows 7 computer?

    • Fact: McAfee (and Norton) applications are notorious for not uninstalling (or upgrading) cleanly. The "leftovers" may be your troublemaker here.
