Windows 10: When I enable Hyper-V and when it restart, a BSOD show up!

I want to test Windows 11 Dev on a Hyper-V virtual machine, so I enable Hyper-V on the Windows Features. But after restart and it starting to install Hyper-V, I ran into a BSOD say that "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED". It restart multiple time and it always end up on the same BSOD. I was able to fix it by booting in Safe Mode and some how it say that rolling back update while booting into Safe Mode so it was able roll back completely and fix the problem. I'm wondering why can't I install Hyper-V and is there anyway I can install Hyper-V? I'm not asking for Hyper-V alternative becaus

Can't Enable Hyper-V in Windows 10 Professional

I appreciate your effort on this. As per my research the error code 0x800f0831 is generated when .Net Framework 3.5 is not enabled on the computer. I suggest you to try enabling .Net Framework 3.5 on the computer. Follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
4. Now, select the check box for .Net Framework 3.5 and click on
   OK.
   
5. Restart the computer.
   

You can also check if Virtualization feature is enabled in BIOS or not, if it is not enabled, I suggest you to enable it.

Hyper-V on Windows Pro wont install and see if that helps.

The Hyper-V
role can be enabled on these versions of Windows 10:

• Windows 10 Enterprise
• Windows 10 Professional
• Windows 10 Education

The Hyper-V role cannot be installed on:

• Windows 10 Home
• Windows 10 Mobile
• Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise

 

Win10Pro, Hyper-V and missing files

I am aware that does not install Hyper-V, it was from me attempting to clear up the issue that was preventing me installing Hyper-V. The dism log when issuing the commands;

• DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /All /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V
  
• DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /All /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V-All

Show the exact same errors, so I was guessing were rooted in the same cause.
