Windows 10: When I enter my Microsoft password, it says my device is offline! So I cant start the computer.

Microsoft asked me to change my password which i have done numerous times, but then I can't log in using the new password because Micrsoft says "your device is offline". So I can't do anything and I have been offline on my desk top which is linked to my printer for one week, No telephone support from Microsoft,. it's disgraceful.

This issue might occur if there is change in Microsoft account settings.

• When you say that "windows using the same password", are you getting any error message when you enter the password?
• Have you checked the issue while entering with a different keyboard?
• Were you connected the computer to a internet connection while logging into the computer with Microsoft account?
• When you say that "resetting the password.", have you tried to reset the password from Microsoft website?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to enter the password through different keyboard and through On-screen keyboard. Check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to try entering the password with a different password.

Step 2: I recommend you to check the internet connect of the computer and make sure that internet is available for the computer while enter the Microsoft password.

Step 3: I suggest you to follow the steps provided in the Microsoft account and check if it helps.

Entering Password to login to computer after turning it on. Windows 10.

  Open settings
  
• 
  Click on Users and account
  
• 
  Open Sign-in options and tap the
  Change button under Password.
  
• 
  Enter the current password and click Next.
  
• 
  There you can remove the pin password

You can reset your password following the next steps:

• Reboot your computer / Turn your computer on.
• Hold down the Shift key at the start of the boot process to enable the GNU GRUB boot menu (if it does not show)
• Press ESC at the GNU GRUB prompt.
• Press e for edit.
• Use the Arrow keys to highlight the line that begins with kernel and press the e key.
• Go to the very end of the line and add rw init=/bin/bash
• Press Enter and then press b to boot your system.
• Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.
• Type in passwd yourusername
• Set your new password.
• Restart your system.
