  1. When I go into the repair/troubleshoot area, it asks for an administration password

After manually upgrading a Driver on my Acer Aspire 7 with Windows 10 home, I lost the USB ports completely. When I go into the repair/troubleshoot area, it asks for an administration password, and it also lists my name as the administrator. It refuses to except any password I have tried. It keeps saying the password is incorrect. I know how move past the USB problem because of Windows 10, build 1709 upgrade, I fixed the issue at that time. I also have been logging in with the number pad since I set it to log in with the code. When the USB disappears, I have no Mouse, Keyboard, or touch screen

    Lost My Administrator Password

To which "this" are you referring?
    - If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
    - If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

  3. windows 10 is asking ADMIN Password in "troubleshoot" and in "Advance repair Mode"

    Hi Kavibhai -

This is Orlando, an Independent Advisor and an expert with Windows 10. I understand that your computer is asking administrator password whenever you go to troubleshoot or advance repair mode of your computer.

Are you using local account or Microsoft account to your PC?

If your using local account and you didn't set any administrator password on your computer to can just hit enter and windows will allow you continue with the advance repair mode. Using advance options on your computer will require you to enter a local account administrator password. If you don't remember that you setup one you can just set a new password or remove the password on your computer.

Here's some steps in changing your administrator account password.

    1. Open the computer settings by pressing the Windows Key and click the gear icon on the left side corner or the screen.

    2. Click on the accounts and then click on sign in options

    3. Click on password and click change then enter your new desired password.

    4. Once done you can use that password whenever your computer requires you to sign in with administrator password.

Hope this helps, have a good day.

    Thanks,

    Independent Advisor
