Windows 10: When i go to install minecraft off the minecraft.net site, it sends me to the MS store.

I cant install either MC launcher OR gaming services on the MS Store app. It just says it is pending install or "something went wrong on our end".I have tried all of the fixes through CMD and powershell that I have found online, none of them work. I need help.Josh

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Actually I don't see a question in the above, and there is (now) a reply in the other thread.

What is your question? Perhaps:
'Why isn't Minecraft listed as an installed program?'
or perhaps
'How do uninstall Minecraft?'

This begs the question: which version of Minecraft was installed?
There are various versions in the Store (UWP app)
This link mentions a Java version (no uninstall entry)

I no longer own Minecraft in the Windows 10 Store?

I owned Mojang's Minecraft. When it came out on Windows 10, I redeemed for my free version. Anytime I rebuilt my PC, I could always reinstall Minecraft because the Windows Store knew I owned it. I just got a new PC, installed Windows 10 and went into the store and tried to install Minecraft. Now it wants me to pay $26. So what happened? Why do I no longer own Minecraft in the store?
