    When I go to sign in to Xbox or just the Microsoft Store, the pop up to sign in does not...


    Just as stated in the question, any time I go to sign in to the store or xbox apps the normal sign in pop up does not open properly. Occasionally it will flash like it wants to open but doesn't. This is a brand new computer too and trying to sign in and set myself up but can't even do that when the program isn't working properly. Is there anything I can do to be able to sign in?

    Hi Suzanne,

    There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

    • Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
    • Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

    Update us with the result.
