Recently, I have had this problem which I cannot fix. I have my HP laptop Windows 11 connected to an HP monitor so that I have two displays to work with. I have it so the displays are extended in the settings, not duplicated. The first display, which is the laptop itself, works fine. However, when I move my mouse off to the 2nd display, it greys out and does not work. If I move my mouse back to the 1st display, it turns on again. It is not the actual monitor causing the problem, as it still remains on and does not say that there is no input detected, and must still be getting a signal from t

It may be possible that the monitors are misaligned on the Display Settings. We recommend moving the mouse on the four edges of your main display and see if it would move to the second display. Then, go to
Advanced Display Settings and position the monitors on how they're physically placed. Here's how you can get to Advanced Display Settings:

• Press Windows key + I on your keyboard then click System.
• Click Display on the left-hand panel, then click Advanced Display Settings.

display contents of folder on hover ?

I used to have an app that let you hover the mouse over a folder and you will see the contents display in a pop up area.. similar to the right click context feature. You could then choose a shortcut from that to open - all without ever opening the folder itself.

I cant for the life of me find that app but i want to use it to help organize my desktop.

Any ideas?
