Windows 10: When I hover over an item in the taskbar and click the window that pops up, it doesn't show...

When I want to change programmes, I go to the taskbar, hover my mouse over the programme, then click on the appropriate page that pops up.... or that's what I would usually do. Since windows has been updated, it no longer takes me to that page. I have to try about three or four times each time I want to switch, sometimes resulting me having to use Alt+Tab. If the page does then open in full screen, I then move my mouse and it disappears. My primary way of switching to different programmes at the moment is just clicking minimise on everything until I get to what I want. Could someone please tel

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Are you referring to taskbar preview window pop-ups?



If yes, there is no option to disable the taskbar window pop-ups when you hover the mouse, this is by design.

However you may Auto-hide taskbar by following the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• 
  In the Taskbar tab, Place a tick mark for Auto-hide the taskbar.
  

You may provide your suggestions in the feedback app.

It will be directly referred by our developer’s team for further improvement.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
