Windows 10: When i logged in this morning all my c drive files are missing

When logging in this morning, my computer said preparing windows. When it finally logged on, all my c drive files were missing. How do i recover them?

and this morning my C drive told me it was full!

so.. i see that my windows version is21H1 (OS Build 19043, 1110)
and I'll try the first steps of what you're suggesting.
I saw this morning that my disc was a SSD, 250 gigabites.
I managed to trash about 5 of them, mostly applications I don't really use.

i did ran the troubleshooter, but at first it didn't work, now I've done the few steps i already described, it works, but there's some issues. concerning the windows updater; it managed to run






I'll try downloading that software you suggest.

Microsoft updated last night and now my c drive is missing. Suggestions?

 

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
