  1. When I manually add a wifi network, I still can’t see it in wifi options? What should I do?

Long story short, I have 2 different wifi networks, one better than another, so it’s obvious I want to connect to better one. The problem is on my win10 pc I can only connect to that „worse” network, when my win11 laptop and phone can connect to this two networks. I tried to manually connect to that network, but nothing shows in my wifi network settings.I have latest drivers for my wifi adapter.Does my win version is the problem here? I can’t upgrade to win11.Please help!

    :)

At my wits end with WiFi

I did the sme, with the WAP, i disabled DHCP, and assigned a static IP (192.168.1.2), the adsl router already has a static ip set. i followed th guide here: Wireless access point - DD-WRT Wiki to a T, both with and without the reccommended/optional steps.

Still no joy, and i still can't get my desktop to see the wifi router, wth default settings and a direct connection. My laptop views the wifi router fine, with default settings.

Ok i figured i missed a step when changing to the DD-WRT firmware. I didn;t upgrade to the latest version. i'm doing that now, and i'll try to set it up again.

    Why is my wifi slow?

Crowded look which channels are populated the most.

If you have a mobile phone you can use an app called Wifi Analyzer it list you all networks and channels otherwise your router does that as well in the config menu.

If all of those option are not available for you try changing the channel randomly in your router wifi setup

WiFi issue in the secured network?

    Greetings hirababulogantha,

The following are troubleshooting steps I use myself whenever I get odd disconnects on any of my mobile devices that always seem to resolve this type of issue.

    To turn Off/On Wifi

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Wifi off or on.

    Remove a stored(known) network

    • Go to Settings on the phone
    • Navigate and tap Wifi
    • Flick Off Wifi
    • Tap Advanced
    • Tap and hold on the university network then tap Delete.
    • Flick On Wifi
    • Tap the university network to connect to it again.
    Best Regards,
