Windows 10: When I minimize Netflix app onto the task bar, it gets close off automatically.

So there are 2 issues I'm facing, which I have encountered while using Netflix in particular.Issue 1: So when I minimize the Netflix app to switch over, or use some other application on my Laptop, the Netflix application gets closed off automatically from the taskbar. So I have to open the app again for my use.Issue 2: When I'm using Netflix, watching a movie or a show, and since my laptop is connected to my mobile, and whenever any notification pops up on my mobile, and I receive the notification in my laptop as well, the show/movie gets paused, and I have to manually 'play' it to resume it.

Netflix App runs but doesn't show up on task bar

Hi,

I downloaded the Netflix app from the Windows Store and it was working fine for a while. But now when I open it, it works fine but Netflix does not appear on my task bar or in task manager. I tried uninstalling it, but it also does not uninstall. I tried
adding it to task bar, but also did not work. Thus, every time I minimize Netflix I have to go into the Start Menu and look for it. How can I fix this so that Netflix appears on my task bar? Thanks.

 

Apps closing automatically after minimizing them...ys

Guys I'm using Nokia Lumia 930 with Windows 10 and encountered an issue with third party installed apps - when I minimize an app, after few seconds it closes automatically but appears in the task list. When I tap on the app it loads again... So frustrating
please help I tried all background app options and nothing helped me I'm confused to reopening the apps everytime I minimized them............

 

Programs run minimized on task bar

First it was chrome then a week or so later Excel started doing it. The program open and they show on the task bar if you move the curser over them you can see that the program is open but you can not enlarge the small window the controls for enlarge and
minimize do not show only an x to close. I do not know of any software changes unless there was an update for something.

I tried the steps you outlined and they had no effect.

Thanks for the help, any other suggestions? I am lost without my excel!
